Do I need both - a Living Will and a Health Care Power of Attorney?
The Living Will applies only to situations in which you are terminally ill
or in a permanently uncon-scious state of mind.
If you wish to direct medical treatment in other circumstances, you should prepare
a Health Care Power of Attorney. Note that i you are in a terminal condition or
a permanently unconscious state, your Living Will Declaration will replace your
Health Care Power of Attorney.
